Fonts
Fonts are the typefaces templates render text with. Each project has its own font library — what is available in the editor and on air.
Built-in fonts
A small set of fonts ships with every project and needs no setup. Pick them from any text object's font-family dropdown.
Adding a project font
You need editor or admin access.
- Open the project, then Fonts → Add font.
- Enter the font family name exactly as it should appear in the editor.
- Upload one or more weight/variant files (
.woff2is preferred,.woffand.otfsupported). - Save.
The font is now available in the editor. Existing templates that referenced the family name start rendering with it.
Rendering
The renderer (and therefore broadcast output) uses the same font files the editor does. A template that looks right in the editor looks the same on air.
Licensing
You are responsible for the font's license. Only upload fonts you have a license to use in broadcast content.
Offline mode
The offline sync bundles only the fonts that the synced production's templates actually reference — large font libraries do not bloat every laptop bundle.
