Renderer & Preview

Output preview

Inside the app, see exactly what the broadcast tool sees — on a checkered background for transparency.

Output preview

The preview is an in-app view of the same renderer the broadcast tool would capture. Open it whenever you want to see what is on air without leaving the control panel.

Where to find it

  • Output page — a preview pane shows the renderer inline.
  • Control panel — a smaller preview on the right mirrors the output.
  • Direct URL — the output URL opened in a normal browser tab.

Checkered background

The preview renders on a checkered background so transparent regions are obvious. The broadcast tool, by contrast, renders the graphics over the live feed. The checker pattern never appears on air.

Using the preview during design

While building a template, open the preview of a test output alongside the editor. Take the template on that output and watch it render in the preview as you iterate.

Preview does not replace testing

A production preview is not the same as the final broadcast. Test at least once against the actual broadcast tool before going live with a new template — differences in browser-source settings can surprise you.
