Syncing a production before a show

Perform the sync with a reliable internet connection, ideally the night before or the morning of the show.

First time: sign in

• Open the Windows app.
• Click Sign in and enter your BroadcastGraphics email and password.
• The app gets a long-lived token valid for 7 days. It is stored encrypted on the laptop.

Picking productions

• Open Sync in the manager window.
• The list shows every production your account can access in every organization.
• Tick the productions you need.
• Click Download. The app fetches templates, datasets, schemas, fonts and media assets into local storage.

A typical production is 5–50 MB. Large ones (many images) can be a few hundred MB. Download time depends on your connection.

Re-syncing

Run sync again any time — it is incremental. Only changed content is fetched.

Going offline

Once a production is downloaded, unplug. Open the local control panel and run the show as you would online.

Token refresh

If more than 7 days pass without syncing, the token expires. Sign in again the next time you want to sync. The laptop keeps the previously downloaded production regardless; expiration only affects future syncs.
