Creating an output

You need editor or admin access.

Steps

1. Open the project, then Outputs → New output.
2. Enter a name ("Main overlay — 1080p").
3. Set width and height. For a standard broadcast: 1920 × 1080.
4. Save.

The output page shows its public URL. Copy it and paste into your broadcast tool as a browser source URL.

The slug

The slug is auto-generated from the name but you can edit it. Keep it short and URL-safe (main-overlay, not Main Overlay v2!).

Once the URL is wired into a broadcast setup, changing the slug will break the browser source — they will not follow the rename. Commit to a slug before you share the URL.

Renaming versus creating new

Renaming the output is safe (the slug stays the same unless you edit it). Changing resolution is safe too, but the browser source may need a refresh.

Deleting

You cannot delete an output that is referenced by a production. Switch the production to a different output first, then delete.
