Creating a production

You need editor or admin access.

Steps

1. Open the project, then Productions → New production.
2. Enter a name ("Matchday 5 — Halftime Show").
3. Optionally a description and a start time.
4. Pick an output. You can change this later, but doing so disconnects every running layer — do not switch outputs during a live show.
5. Save.

The production opens on its layer list. Add at least one layer before the operator can take anything on air.

Naming for the operator

The production name shows up first in the control panel's title. Name it so the operator knows exactly which show it belongs to on a busy day.

Copying an existing production

Duplicate an old production to get a layout you already like. The copy gets the same layers and dataset references; you just rename it.
