What the sections of a project look like and how to move between them.

Project overview page

When you open a project you land on its overview. From here you can jump to every part of the project.

Sections in the sidebar

  • Templates — the visual designs.
  • Data schemas — the shape of your data.
  • Data sources — imported sheets, plugin feeds and manual grids.
  • Mappings — how a data source fills a schema.
  • Datasets — resolved, ready-to-use data.
  • Outputs — the URLs a broadcast tool captures.
  • Productions — the live shows that combine templates, datasets and outputs.

Typical flow

If you are new to the project, work in roughly this order:

  1. Define the data schema — what fields does the graphic need?
  2. Build the template and bind its elements to schema fields.
  3. Import a data source and map it to the schema to create a dataset. (Or create a manual dataset directly.)
  4. Create an output.
  5. Create a production that uses the template, dataset and output.

Editing the project itself

Open Settings from the project page to rename or delete the project, or to move it between organizations (superadmin only).
